Egleston Square is an ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse neighborhood of Boston that straddles both Jamaica Plain and Roxbury. We value community, diversity, and helping our neighbors. We also love to eat! From fresh fruits and vegetables to the Asian eateries on Centre Street to the Dominican milkshakes on Washington Street to the tacos in Hyde Square to the fancier eateries in JP Center, we love it all.
We’re eager to build relationships between the people who live in JP and Roxbury and the farmers, food producers, and businesses that serve our community. We want to share recipes, cultures, and gardening tips.
The farmers and local food producers that sell their products at the Egleston Farmers Market are one of our key ingredients! We have a diverse array of vendors selling local foods including: produce, meat, honey, eggs, cheese, fish, bread, prepared foods, and a food truck from time to time! Local artists and artisans as well as neighborhood service providers rotate in to make your market experience a full one.
We encourage local food growers, food makers, artists, crafters and service providers to join us. Please visit our FOR VENDORS page for application and fee information.
If you’re a local farmer, specialty food maker or artist interested in being an Egleston Farmers Market vendor, and think your product or service would be a good fit, please contact the Market Director, Kate Peppard, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
